In 2020, HelloFresh created their first Data Engineering team. As founding members, we encountered a tooling landscape consisting of Excel files and manual processes. As the company grew by over 300% during the Covid-19 pandemic, this way of working was no longer sufficient.
Our team was crucial to executing the Digital Transformation of the tooling landscape to scalable Python pipelines, running in the cloud.
Last year, HelloFresh Benelux and France had over EUR 500 million in revenues. Our pipelines are crucial to this.

HelloFresh Market
We developed the HelloFresh Market, offering over 1000 unique SKUs which can be added to a customer's order.
Second Brand
In 2022, we launched a second brand. We implemented this new expansion in less than four weeks.
French DC
Our team was responsible for developing a complex tool used for allocating boxes between the different DC's while ramping up the production in France.
Merging DC's
Due to production for France being shifted to its own DC, we were able to reduce the amount of DC's to one. This resulted in savings of EUR 9+ million annually.
